ACQUA SANTA SPRING

Acqua Santa is a mineral-thermal water belonging to the bicarbonate-sulfate-calcium group.

This water is primarily famous for hydropinic therapy (drinking therapy). It can be drunk directly at the source, where it flows at a constant temperature of 33°C, inside the Acqua Santa Park in the morning on an empty stomach for cycles of at least 12 days. It is purifying and detoxifying, stimulates metabolism, and is effective in promoting the elimination of the effects of prolonged pharmacological therapies.

Water from the Santissima spring, a bicarbonate-sulfate-calcium-alkaline-earth water, is used for inhalations, aerosol therapy, and nasal showers provided at the Sillene facility of Terme di Chianciano. It is taken directly at the taps of the Acqua Santa Park in the afternoon, once the digestive process is complete. Its composition increases the amount of bile, promoting its flow, regulates intestinal motility, and exerts an anti-inflammatory action on the gastroduodenal mucosa.

ACQUA SILLENE SPRING

This is a hot water, as it springs at a temperature of 38.5°C at the Sillene Baths.

It is used in carbon-gaseous balneotherapy and in the composition of thermal muds.

Characterized by a very high carbon dioxide content, it is used for: balneotherapy for vascular pathologies, mud application on the hepatic region, and mud-balneotherapy for the treatment of arthro-rheumatic pathologies. The water that flows within the Sant’Elena Thermal Park is used for the treatment of urinary and gastroenteric pathologies.
